Hurricane Preparedness Seminar August 3
Preparation for hurricanes and other cataclysmic events is the best way to protect you and your family from Mother Nature’s wrath. Join your neighbors and find out what you need to know to be prepared if a hurricane strikes. The North Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce in conjunction with the Community Coalition of Little River, the Little River Chamber of Commerce and WPDE News Channel 15 will host a Hurricane Preparedness Seminar at First Baptist Church Family Life Center, located on Sixth Ave South, North Myrtle Beach on Tuesday, August 3. Hurricane related vendors will be set up beginning at 6 p.m. and the program will start at 7:30 p.m.
Guest speakers include Ed Piotrowski, Chief Meteorologist WPDE-TV15 and Randy Webster,director Horry County Emergency Management. Bring your questions and get informed with proper hurricane procedures, quickest evacuation routes and preparing your home or business in the event of a hurricane.
