DANVILLE — San Ramon Valley agencies and organizations will host a fair Saturday to help residents learn how to prepare for emergencies.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 655 Old Orchard Rd. The event will include child car seat inspections, tips on how to create an earthquake kit, stranger danger classes for children, and free classes on pet CPR.
There will also be a free tri-tip lunch.
The Walnut Creek Police Bomb Squad, San Ramon Valley Fire Department and San Ramon police K9 unit will hold demonstrations. The event is sponsored by the City of San Ramon, the Town of Danville, San Ramon Regional Medical Center, the San Ramon Valley School District and the church.
